BABY SHOWER
I was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support from family and friends at my baby shower! I literally needed a week or so to process all the love and gifts that we were showered with. Beyond blessed! Our baby boy is so loved already!
Such a beautiful invite!
Here’s the invite insert! So sweet!
My sister Kristen, Mom Arnette, and friends Alina and Megan put everything together. From the invite, to the floral arrangements, to a curated menu, I couldn’t believe this was all for me and this little baby growing inside me. I had to take a minute when I saw everything all set up. I managed to keep it together and not cry!
Can we talk about this spread?! Alina, AKA my Renaissance woman! In addition to her many talents, she can add chef to the list. She curated a custom menu that included pasta salad, mini quiches, brie, an epic charcuterie board, and savory bacon wrapped dates (my favorite)! Everything was delicious!
The bright and fresh floral arrangements my sister Kristen put together! So elegant!
The beautiful cake that Megan ordered from Alley Cakes! It was champagne flavored. Yummy!
It didn't just rain at my baby shower, it poured! We are so so blessed!!!
The iron on onesie station! This was my sister's wonderful idea. Guests were asked to choose a design to iron on, sign their creation, and share words of advice and encouragement.
So cute!
The party favors! Baby succulents in tiny pots and yummy macaroons! Another collaboration of my Mom, Kristen and Alina! Alina baked the macaroons, my Mom handmade the little white macaroon boxes and planted the succulents, and my sister helped with the pretty signage!
Every little detail was so classy and chic. I loved it all and have been craving just one more bite of those bacon wrapped dates!
Here’s a photo of the ladies that were able to join us for the special occasion. Each and every one of them can claim the title of Mother, Mama to Be, or that they possess a Mother’s Spirit.
I’ve asked for advice/guidance on all the stages of becoming a mother and what to expect when baby arrives, swapped insightful and often times funny pregnancy stories, and leaned on a few shoulders when the hormones decide to go into overdrive. These women are strong, beautiful, so incredibly thoughtful and caring and true examples of what it means to be a Mother. I’m so grateful to have them cheering me on as I embark on this journey into Motherhood.
